Peter--I will suggest this, but most people can open attachments directly. Does
new Word have a glitch about .doc docs?

It is not good practice to do so (though Office 2007 attemps to overcome
most of the problems). The issue here concerns the file associations. Set
the file associations for doc/rtf to Word 2007 - See

Reinstalling earlier version of Office Word I now have Office 2007 Ultimate installed on my new Windows 7 laptop. multilevel lists Word I am writing an engineering report using multilevel lists. Every 4th or 5th page, Word places a large blank space on the page after I press Enter. The new list existing page.
