Word - printing envelopes sith left side justification

I have windows XP Hebrew enabled which was switched to English enabled using
Language Pak. When I open "word", the cursor is on the left; no problem. When
I open "envelopes and labels", the cursor is on the right. I switch this to
the left using Shift/Ctrl. However, when I print out an envelope, even
thought the address appears on the screen with left side justification, it
prints out with right side justification. How can I fix this problem and is
there anyway to congigure so that when the "envelope" box pops up that the
cursor appears on the left side?

I'm not sure the following will help, but...

I cannot quite replicate this problem here, although I have tried the
reverse of what you are doing. however, the difference may be that I am not
using Multilingual Windows, only ordinary Windows XP with Multilingual
Office 2003.

I see much the same as you do (except in reverse) but as long as my text is
right-justifed (i.e. the same as yours, except in reverse) on the envelope
then it prints OK.

Some thoughts:
a. What happens in your case if you use print preview?
b. Do you have the Microsoft Office Document Imaging (MODI) printer
installed? What happens if you print to that? is the justification left or
right? What happens when you print from MODI? (Or if you have the full
pay-for version of Acrobat, you might be able to use that)

I don't know, sorry. It does the same here (only in reverse). You might be
better off asking that (and the other question) in another group, perhaps
microsoft.public.word.international.features or one of the more
hebrew-related groups

Thanks for trying to help. I don't have MODI installed on my computer. There
is nothing in print preview that helps. Alos do not have pay-for version of
Acrobat. I tried your last suggestion, but so far, no luck.

Do you have the text direction icons ("Left to right paragraph" and "Right
to left paragraph") on your formatting toolbar (i.e. the toolbar with the B
I U buttons, paragraph layour buttons and so on)? They are the buttons that
look like a small paragraph mark with a small blue arrow pointing left or
right? I think they would be there by default on a system with a Hebrew
interface but you may not see them when the English language pack is
enabled.

If you don't see them, you can go into Tools|Customize|Commands, select
category All Commands (in the column on the left) then locate "ltrPara" in
the list of commands on the right, and drag it to your formatting toolbar.
Then do the same for rtlPara. The commands are in alphabetical order in the
list.

Then select the paragraph that is causing trouble and try changing the text
direction, and the paragraph alignment as necessary, and see if that makes a
difference. I don't see why it would, but it's the only other thing I can
think of except the following possible nasty workaround:

Select the text
Edit|copy
Edit|paste special
Select one of the picture formats and insert the picture
Resize the picture to make the text the correct size
Print that.
