Greg,
nice example - a shame it is no longer available in 2010.

If only that was accurate. Unfortunately, the "Summary Information"
item you can add to the QAT opens the Summary tab of the document
information dialog; it is not the AutoSummarize commmand that was
available in previous versions. Word 2010 has apparently discontinued
AutoSummarize completely.

Jay,
Is the dialogs item gone as well:
Application.Dialogs(wdDialogToolsAutoSummarize).Show
Jay Freedman replied to Greg Maxey
The wdDialogToolsAutoSummarize is still defined, but trying to execute
that statement gets the error message "Run-time error 4605: This
method or property is not available because the command is not
available on this platform."
copy and paste text crashes word Word If I copy text from Textedit or a pdf (using Preview) and then paste that text into Word it will crash. Once that happens I have to log out of OSX and come back before Word will run without crashing (it will open and as soon as I enter a keystroke or select a menu it crashes). Copy and pasting from within word is fine. Running the latest version of Office 2008. Any thoughts? Trying to number two sections two different ways Word I am trying to make a document in Word 2010. I know there are separate Technet non NNTP forums for the 2010 Beta, but this is not really a question that has anything to do with the new 2010. 2007 and 2010 are practically the same for the purposes of this question, unless they have changed some they have not. This is a formatting problem and not that many people read the 2010 forums and respond that have the familiarity with page numbering that there is here. So. . . . (Pretend it is Word 2007) if you can help me. Oh yeah, and on Win 7 but I doubt
